2025/26 Tyler Dibling

….  simple, because he’s not earned more game time. Every wide player in the squad is ahead of him in the pecking order and that’s not down to Moyes.
Insisting that the young players getting no minutes has categorically nothing to do with Moyes is the exact same to me as suggesting that there's nothing those young players could be doing better to get on the pitch. Just the other side of the same coin.

Both are unnecessarily definitive, black and white positions to take when the reality is obviously more nuanced.

…ok

Would appear he isn't happy with it,you'd wonder what he was told to convince him to sign.
Can’t imagine he preferred sitting on our bench over Bayerns.

Only thing that really makes any sense to me is he wanted more 1st team opportunities and thought he would get them here over Bayern despite their talk of plans for him. He clearly wasn’t happy with his pathway at Bayern.

Said in his 1st interview that what a Moyes told him made his mind up and filled him with confidence.
Maybe it was just something along the lines of the subs seats are heated at BMD you’ll love them.

Sounds like grooming.

Eh, I think that's a poor take. If Dibling showed literally exactly the same as McNeil do you REALLY think Moyes would pick him over McNeil? Moyes doesn't trust youth. Never has consistently. I'm not saying the lad isn't responsible for himself as he absolutely is. But, all things being equal, there's no way he gets chosen ahead of anyone else as long as Moyes is here.

….yes, McNeil is much more effective and I’d be sure Moyes would be delighted if Dibling was at the same level.

Thats the aim for Dibling.

Ok, flip this around another direction. Do you honestly think if we brought in Branthwaite this summer that Moyes would start him over Tarkowski or Keane? And Im not even saying Keane has been crap, Im saying you KNOW theres not a chance in hell Moyes starts Jarred over either of them even tho we know, without a doubt, that he's our best defender by a mile.

….Branthwaite would claim his spot as soon as he got an opportunity, have no doubt about that ;)

I think what this will do is put off any promising youngsters wanting to come to Everton as long as Moyes is here, yes he has played Armstrong because his mate Grealish is injured.

players like Armstrong will not get a chance next season once Grealish is fit.

Players who all played well last time they played
Aznou
Patterson
Rohl

not been seen since
The strangest case is Patterson. Did not put a foot wrong over a number of games and then chop! I would be strangling Moyes if I was him. O'Brien is a really decent centre back and a lumbering oaf at right back. Garner should be centre mid without question.

Absolute rubbish that.
