2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I can't believe he is crap in training, what I can believe is that because he probably doesn't shout and "get angry" as much as others Moyes thinks he's a soft touch and on that basis alone refuses to play him. At this point though surely just give him the rest of the season on the right and let him prove it, better than playing Armstrong out there out of position, arguably wasting his developmental years aswell. Or is Moyes gonna keep criticising him and not play him because I really don't see how that is gonna help

Just don’t think he knows how to manage younger players. Rooney fell out with him a few times. Probs or why he constantly picks the older heads every game.

Would make sense if he wasn’t picking a younger player directly in his place.

Whose position is being taken by Gana who (and i didnt watch the game) hasnt been as good as Armstrong was, in the centre since coming back from AFCON.

Hes also stated that Aznou wasnt ready - made him look like a fool then dropped

Stated armstrong would start games otherwise hed send him back on loan - so hes starting him or he'll look a fool.

Called out Dibling - never gave him a chance

The list is endless.

It's probably David's little club at the training ground and a macho male culture, get a life Moyes and coaches and try to use the assets you have.

Has there ever been a more expensive flop come to the club?
Probably the nicest kid around the place but despite his many admirers on this forum it's not happening for him here.

He’s shown nothing in his minutes played, George for me has shown infinitely more in his two appearances.

We are so desperate for pace, something George has, which unfortunately Tyler doesn’t.

If I was picked from our squad I’d pick George every time.

I assume if one is crap in training there isn’t much confidence they’re going to magically change it up in a game.
What about people who are crap during the match week in and out then? Because they are good at keep ups during the week they are the better option?

Just to be clear, this isn't about Dibling himself. I just have seen awful awful players who are seemingly undroppable and it just blows my mind about what the manager sees.

Exactly. Just the latest hobby horse to ride for those with negative agendas. I was very hopeful when he signed, but he's done absolutely nothing to earn a spot and, in fact, hides on the pitch.
