2025/26 Tyler Dibling

With what? Beto on the other side of the pitch and 15 minutes to do it in?

You may as well have asked him to weave yogurt.
I mean in the slim opportunities he had on the ball, try to go past his man, or even put a proper cross in (as much as I loathe our aimless crossing).

Over everything though, I would have liked to see him busting a gut to support Rohl when he made a run forward with the ball.

He's told to check back IMO. You can see that in his play as opposed to the way he played at Southampton.

Fair enough can’t disagree with that, sorry misinterpreted your original post
No worries at all. Just typical of Everton to yet again seemingly get another £30 million pounds transfer so, so wrong. Think it riles me up mostly because Moyes publicly came out and said Barry was the best as could get as we couldn't afford a better striker! Absolutely madness from all involved in the summer transfer window.

Was worried when he came on and did this against Mansfield tbh. Why people thought that was fine at the time baffled me.
I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because we were ahead in the second half and managing the game

But I've seen literally nothing from the lad so far. It's not his fault either. It was very bad recruitment and we spent far too much money on someone who doesn't offer goal threat.

Played more like a guy who gets regular minutes and has established himself, more than the guy who is fighting for minutes. Especially down a goal, he needs to show more (they all did, but he's the one who is still on the bench with injuries and AFCON).

None of the signings we've made this summer have any goal threat to be fair.

He needs time to actually play when its not the dying end of a game. I'd much rather see him start and struggle but at least get used to playing in the team than just sticking McNeil there when we already know what he's about.
