Isnt this what we thought on Fofana?



His agent would tell him that the club who bid for him and could take him to the premier league have just paid e.g £35mil for a 19 year old England u21 right winger.

Fofana will have it explained that if we sign one more wide player then he'll lose us as an option. He'll either continue to wait or come back to us to progress the deal.



At the same age Gordon to compare with Dibling this coming season achieved 5 starts & 6 sub for preston & 1 start & 2 sub for everton.

So if we sign Dibling and he starts 2 games and is a sub in 4 games he will have doubled Gordons output for Everton at the same age.

Season after this Gordon got 4 goals and 2 assists & 3 seasons time 3 goals in half a season before his transfer.

I'm confident Dibling will destroy those numbers.



As I posted before;

Dibling is 5 years younger than Gordon.

Gordon only has 12 caps depsite believing he's a global superstar.

I would be very disappointed if Dibling returned these numbers between the ages of 20-24 (beginning the season after this one for Dibling).

In that Newcastle team Gordon should be hitting 23/24 season numbers every season.

Hopefully we land Dibling and he's able to grow into an effective player very quickly and eclipse Gordon

Gordon has better pace but Dibling has superior dribbling ability.

Don't entirely agree (dont think the lad is aggressive enough to get high figures) and we won't see anything consistent for another 2 seasons. I want to be proved wrong.

However, some will expect an instant impact for the price

Erm, no, Gordon is much much faster

Gordon is faster but could be knocked over by a strong gust of wind.

Interesting thing about Dibling is that he's 19 and when he carries the ball you see defenders bounce off him. Rides challenges in a similar way to Ndiaye and tbf is also quick, just maybe not 'rapid'.

35s not a lot of money these days really,I know we haven’t got the money Chelsea and city and the rs have to splash,but if we progress his career in the right way your talking maybe worth double that in years to come,

Him & N’Dyiaye will be great to watch on either side, and no doubt increase our free kick wins. If we can somehow manage to find a footballer in world football who can beat the 1st man on a set piece, likes of Branthwaite, JOB, Tarks, Beto, Barry should add to our offensive numbers.
