To some, maybe. It's still a lot of money to us. The kid will need to hit the ground running at that price£35m is nothing in today's transfer market, plus he is head and shoulders above A Gordon who we sold for £40/45m
it's a yes for me, get it done we wont regret it

It’s not whether £35m is a lot in today’s market, it’s how much of our budget is that. We need like 4-5 more players remember.
Fofana and now Dibling seem to be one derisory unacceptable bid.
Then radio silence.
Truly bizarre.
More than likely be spread though this mate. That’s the thing, £35m is a big wad of cash to be paying for a promising young player if it’s a big chunk of our budget.
If he's been giving permission to speak to us you'd imagine a deal if fairy close to being struck.Fofana and now Dibling seem to be one derisory unacceptable bid.

We have for so many years been a one paced team all over the pitch lacking pace in my humble opinion….i’d certainly challenge him ‘being head and shoulders’ above Gordon. Gordon’s market value is rightly a lot more than Dibling.
Gordon has blistering pace, scoring 1 in 4 for Newcastle who have just secured him on a new deal to fend off interest from clubs with big bucks to spend. Dibling isn’t fast, has scored 2in 38 games for a Southampton team that got relegated.
Dibling is all about potential, he’s unproven and the club are right to have a firm valuation of him.
Is he head and shoulders above Gordon though? Not seen enough of him to claim that tbh.
Yeah Everton very rarely do one large payment. Whatever they agree will be in instalments over a period of time. Most clubs do that tbf.More than likely be spread though this mate.
Highly unlikely we'll plonk 35 million in Southampton's lap.
