….i’d certainly challenge him ‘being head and shoulders’ above Gordon. Gordon’s market value is rightly a lot more than Dibling.

Gordon has blistering pace, scoring 1 in 4 for Newcastle who have just secured him on a new deal to fend off interest from clubs with big bucks to spend. Dibling isn’t fast, has scored 2in 38 games for a Southampton team that got relegated.

Dibling is all about potential, he’s unproven and the club are right to have a firm valuation of him.

Hes nowhere near as aggressive or quick as Gordon. More like an Ndiaye or Grealish type in style. Probably not going to hound a defence/fullback as much as Gordon would.

Technically he's probably more gifted with the ball at his feet but Gordon gets behind the defence and is a goal threat.

But saying that, Dibbling has been a part of Lidl Tiki Taka where scoring goals is not on high on the list of things to do.

Yeah Everton very rarely do one large payment. Whatever they agree will be in instalments over a period of time. Most clubs do that tbf.
