I’ve mixed emotions on this.

I think it’s a great investment, feel the lad is going right to the top and will be an 80-100 mill footballer, you can see his quality from out space.

On the other hand, I don’t think he’s ready to start 40 odd games a season and typically for his age he’s boom and bust and we need players to make an impact now. I’m also assuming this is a significant part of our budget.

If we bring him in, I think we are going to bring in a Harrison type for experience/cover.

A bit like with Dibling I think we've had a nod he'd be interested so have been exploring "more difficult" deals mate.

Think we are seeing now the recruitment move into securing those deals rather than delay them longer.

I would agree that it is definitely time to move on to achievable targets. I'm not sure why it needed to take till August to do that. We are obviously pretty desperate now only a fortnight from when we have to register our team for the Leeds game.

Mr point remains, it’s lacking direction and professionalism
