If we are reaching this kind of silly money, it tells me we will probably run inside forwards with fullbacks providing the width... which would be nice if we had fullbacks that could provide width. He has the POTENTIAL to be better than Elanga and Madueke who have gone for 10 million more apiece. There’s no guarantees he’ll fulfil that potential so it’s a calculated gamble, but we made a similar gamble on Richarlison for similar money that paid off handsomely.

I think we’l agree a deal for 45 mill rising to 50.

I think we are confident of seeing a huge return on him in the future, which is why I think they’ll push the boat out to get him.
