I haven’t watched the last 3 episodes of Stranger Things yet but I think one of the big issues the show has is that what were surprisingly good child actors have pretty much all turned out to be mediocre at best as they have grown up. Might be being a bit kind calling them mediocre too.

The actors became adults and were still acting as high school kids, becomes more unbelievable to watch and more difficult for them to act.

So Rosamund Pike + the ginger kids Dad are the only two recognisable actors.

Looks like a B-movie or low quality series that are pumped out a dime a dozen.

Im bewildered at how this cost $10mil per episode? That cant be true...

Spoiler: What a load of Trollocs

Just finished the first episode and as my gf was saying how bad it was just as i was dozing off

two good things so far...

1: Rosamund Pike in the bathtub

2: The kid killing his mrs lol

im sure she/ he said there were 10 trollocs and yet there seemed like 50 of them lol

The women (aside from Rosamund) are all 'cover your eyes' ugly....the men are all weaklings and very feminine.

Is this a series where the women have strength and intelligence and the men are pretty much useless aside from the odd chap?

Its a hard watch

Rewatched season one.

The main thing which was 'borderline' annoying was that Yen is referred to as some kind of amazing beauty...yes, great body but some masculine features.

Id have expected someone like Alice Eve to be cast as a 'beauty' if thats what they were going for. Great actress though.

Season two seemed pretty boring and tame in comparison...the Nilfgard witch is distractingly ugly...

...Yen seems to have lost her make up yet shes still 'a beauty' apparently. Triss is cast as a very feeble boring person which is also off putting.

Casting multiple rough birds is really off putting throughout.

Aside from that and one or two unnecesary storylines id give it a solid 8/10 for season one and 7/10 as a generous rating for season two.

Improve the casting.

Silent sea = One of the biggest Korean flops of recent years.

Witcher = The 1st season storyline was pretty easy to follow. Quite enjoyable with lots happening and unfolding throughout.

Second season, or the 'politically correct' season was just plain boring. I was especially tired of hearing "she is so beautiful" directed at actresses. Although with the very ugly ones (who for some reason didnt use magic to make themselves pretty) i suppose balanced it out.

They need to improve the writing and casting for season 3...change the writers and director.

Think is started off ok...mostly because of everyone else apart from her.

She's got no charisma and is ugly as sin.

Hopefully someone light sabers her head off soon.

Well done you for sticking with a kids tv show. Where the main plot points were seeing how much uglier they could become and how their acting dropped off a cliff.





I got through it all* by committing a week or so to binge watch it. It was clearly put on a pedesal by those who think "drugs are cool and fun" because i cant find any other explanation for why people like it.

*I had to fast forward the parts with his wife and son in because the wife is so ugly and neither of them can act. Plus their voices went right through me.

Watch Gomorrah or Suburra instead if you want to watch a crime series.

The dialogue and acting grates after a while...

Also the woman on the crew is so frighteningly unattractive it made we want to fast forward.

I love all the Yellowstone series and this is no different but season 2 just seemed needlessly compressed and they could have spun a lot more from this timeline.

Really disappointed there's no season 3 but will be looking out for 1944 when it arrives late this year hopefully.

B: I'm not bothered about what strangers on the internet think about films/series. Im commenting on what I think and my view is pretty black/white.

C: Theres literally a thread with womens pics where @Wizard hasnt commented that the posters there should watch pornos.

If you were to ask A.I why people prefer to see attractive actresses in films then you'll see the explanations. Also that its natural for men to comment on womens looks and women to comment on mens.

The more than weird thing would be for a poster @Wizard to equate commenting on a preference for beauty when spending time and money to watch something...

It’s just weird to repeatedly call all sorts of different people ‘ugly’. Whether they’re in TV shows or movies is irrelevant.

It’s one of those, where the first series isn’t really very good, but two and three are fantastic.

It's a bit of an odd show in that respect as the series are kind of anthologies but at the same time they are clearly linked
