Stuck with it and finished the three seasons. The only takeaway for me is that you can’t do a three season who about the subject matter. First season was intriguing in the early stages, second repetitive and third they tried a different angle but still seemed repetitive.

It got quite emotional in parts, where they took you back through the various important bits when they were just little kids, right through to the present.
Contrary to popular opinion, I thought they wrapped it up really well and although it would appear that this is the last one, they`ve left just enough wiggle room for another ( imo ).
Regardless of whether you think the last one was good or not, it`ll forever remain one of the sc-fi tv greats.

But the cgi and green screen looked poor. And the action scenes felt quite clunky, and rushed. The Mindflayer battle was very clunky and went on a while whereas the Vecna scene seemed to happen in a flash.
Also, there was no ending for Murray. What happened to him? Without him, they’d all be dead now as The heli would have killed hopper and taken 11 and none of their “crawls” etc would have worked without him being a major plot point of getting them equipment etc.

This is based on the last episode of series 4, ( the Eddie Munsun guitar scene ) which takes up a large chunk of that episode, where they battle Vecna and his monsters in the Upside Down.
