The plot twists and turns that much that you can`t watch it with distractions.

Each episode is only 35 / 40 mins long, so you can fly through them.

I don`t think it`s one for your missus anyway, as there`s some really graphic violence / torture in it ( unless she`s not squeamish ).

Cheers. The graphic violence was why she wouldn't watch Gangs of London. If it has subtitles as well there's no chance

I realise I am 5 years too late, but these 3 series are a masterclass of directing, screenwriting and acting.

Series 2 was boss!

Fauda - 3 series Netflix ( subs )

I think the last time I ever gave a tv series a 10 was the first series of True Detective, Fauda comes pretty damn close.

The Israeli Secret Service / Shin Bet wage war against Hamas and vice versa.

There are no good guys in this and the makers of the series take no sides.

It’s just brilliantly written and acted, with the tension ratcheted up so much in each series it can be hard to watch, as your nerves are jangling so much.

One of the best anti heroes of all time, in the lead Israeli fella ( Doran )

It takes about five episodes to get going and from then on it’s just relentless.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s a must watch.

That's my viewing sorted for a while then. Another one were my missus will have to have retired for the night.

Just finished the first season of Gomorrah then, class best series I've seen in ages cant turn it off.

Gangs of London on the other hand, proper pony.

Thing that annoyed me and its petty,but that Dorron secret service has abar 3 pops at the Panther in the 1st series and yet still strolls round without a care in the world,James 'kin Bond was more secret and he goes round telling everyone his name

I did think the same that about all of them strolling around Gazza, it`d be like undercover Coppers walking into the old Eagle and Child in Huyton lol

It`s still great telly though and the tension at times is unbearable.
