It’s actually not that bad a series. Agreed to start watching once when we couldn’t agree on anything else at the time and suddenly found myself looking forward to the next series. (Hands head in shame)

I liked the way it tickled my historic fancy and made me run off and recheck what I thought I knew about say - Suez or Aberfan etc.

Just finished Kingdom season 2. Can’t speak highly enough of it. Best thing I’ve watched in ages, gutted it’s over. Looks like a year before the next season.

I watched the first episode of series 2 last night. The bit where the Crown Prince is walking through the underground tunnel followed by his trusty crew, in slow mo with background music pumping, almost made me get up and start swishing with my imaginary samurai sword. Almost.

Alcohol had been consumed.

Yes I enjoyed it (2 SEASONS) Have not seen since will give it a re watch.The frying pan moment had me in bits.
