Knightfall season 2.
After suffering through the first season of this joke of a series I swore that I wouldn't waste my time with it anymore. Then they went and added Mark Hamill to the cast and suckered me in again and I gave season two a go.
Well its it did improve somewhat, it went from 1/10 in season one to about 5/10 in season two mainly because of Hamill's excellent character Master Talus, a grizzled Templer veteran who's seen and done it all and is just a brilliant, well done character (this is how Luke Skywalker should of been played in the Star Wars sequel triolgy). Some of the earlier episode's are actually quite good before it reverts to the same faults of season one as it progresses.
Characters change sides with very little reason and then change back for even less. Scenes are ludicrously overdramitised, rushed and badly thought out.
From a historical perspective the show is an absolute abomination. I've no problem with tv shows and books being flexible with with historical facts as sometimes the truth can be quite boring. I enjoy Vikings which takes plenty of liberties and The Saxon chronicles (The Last Kingdom tv show) by Bernard Cornwall are among my favourite books but there has to be a limit and Kinghtfall goes way beyond that limit. Its about as historically accurate as a Harry Potter novel!
All in all I'm glad I watched this just for Hamill's performance and I enjoyed most of the action scenes but I won't be back again if they make season three, which is looking less likely by the day anyway.
