Series 2 starts on More 4 on Friday.

Small French alpine town where nothing happens, when out if the blue, people who have recently died suddenly return home alive and well with no knowledge of ever being dead. However theres something about them that just isn't right. It's creepy as hell, with a building sense of foreboding, well worth watching.

Finished watching the second series of the blacklist, a lot stronger than the first series (4 for the first and 6.5 for the second) looking forward to the third series now.

First season was so long ago I can barely remember the first, but yeah, it was great. Any idea if 4 on Demand is HD? Don't have More 4 HD. I've look and there seems to be no real answer.

Season three of Arrow, easily the weekest season so far. Ill give it another season as the first two were very good but if the next one is as poor as the last ill be finished with it.
Anyone going to watch the new 'last Kingdom' series starting in a few weeks on BBC2?

I am, think I'm pretty much up to date on the books, which were good .. trailer looks good and reviews seem favourable

Books were written by Bernard Cornwell who also wrote Sharpe ... Looking forward to this one

Review from the independent

You might want to check out the 'This Is England' film first, to understand how it all fits together.

This is great advice. When it gets to the very end, huge swathes of what you see, and what gets closed out is based entirely on the film. If you dont watch the film, I feel you'll miss 50% of what happens, and lose much of the connection to the characters, who are in my mind, some of the best written characters I have seen for a long time.

Have you read the latest book, 'Warriors of the Storm'? It was only realised last Thursday. Bernard Cornwell is one of my favorite authors and this whole series has been crying out to be adapted for tv. The only thing i fear is that it will face the inevitable comparaison to Game Of Thrones.

More behind than I thought, Pagan Lord was the last one I read, do enjoy his books though, not read any Sharpe but did really enjoy Agincourt which was a one off I think
