I just think he plays himself a lot of the time.

A mixed race lad from Kirkby who had it really hard growing up and knows the score as a result.

I`ve been in a few pubs over the years that he`s been in and he seems like a totally normal, decent fella - no billy big boots, just a regular lad, having a beer with his mates.

Just a shame that he`s an avid RS.

Yeh that’s what I mean though; I expect him in real life to intimidate me the same way his characters do.

Yeh I haven’t seen the series but the whole thing baffles me. It concluded in real life that the kids had nothing to do with the rape and that was all one other teen (how they didn’t realise it was him on his own arrest baffles me) but then I do wonder if any of that gang of 30 were there/saw/participated in the attack on her.

Matias Reyes was a serial rapist and murderer , he was convicted of attacks in the area in the 1980's . he confessed after a chance meeting in jail with one of the 5, he his still in jail and will more than likely never get out, his early life is horrible to read.
The police work doesn't look good when he wasn't at least checked at some point for the crime as the must have already had his DNA and a history of crimes in that area.

Yeh apparently the way she got tied up with her own T-shirt matched how he’d done it with other victims. Was definitely a race thing within the police.

I haven't seen any posts for The Looming Towers apologies if there have been.
I've stuck with this slow moving series which has it's penultimate episode tomorrow. The main thrust of the series is the battle between the CIA and FBI in the witholding of intelligence in the lead up to 9/11. Even allowing for the artistic and dramatic license it's a real eye opener on the workings of the USA defence authorities. Everything is lined up nicely I reckon for the last couple of episodes
