Not my favourite series of line of duty. That was a bit predictable, the only saving grace is the kiddie who was in series one is now a copper. The bent b'stard!

Can’t see the guy being given a final written warning still being the head of anti corruption. Surely it would be someone with a perfect record.

It was predictable, but the ending was a mess, just conjuring up out of thin air a narrative based on a twitchy hand to continue the storyline into another series.

Exactly. And if Biggeloe was #3, why is she out and about with a new identity, rather than having been somehow made to rat out #4?

It was predictable, but the ending was a mess, just conjuring up out of thin air a narrative based on a twitchy hand to continue the storyline into another series.

It's like a soap with separate but all interlocking stories so I have no problems with them setting the next up, but who else was hoping that when Kate was checking in with the officer guarding the building that there was no response and suddenly the lights go out? What follows would be like a Cape Fear showdown with Gill and Ted half naked. Minus the water. +may as well get Bob De Niro in as the final H. Sod it we'll get the water by the building being on fire and the sprinklers coming on.

Eat that Jed Mercurio. I'm also available to write for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

I thought when Ted’s dna was on Corbett’s body and he was being questioned about it he was going to say Corbett was his son.

And that he had been speaking with him on the laptop he binned. Obviously things started to go down hill so he got shut of it.

Also if that Gill woman was trying to set Hastings up why did she help him out during the interview?

Bit of a lacklustre episode to end a great season of line of duty. Been a few of them though to end out previous seasons, think it's just mainly because it's hard to live up to the expectations they set leading up to the finale

This. The last 2 episodes were edge of seat stuff, so difficuklt to maintain it. Still a fantastic series though imo, right from episode 1 seieies 1.

I`m amazed they`ve managed to stretch it to four episodes and maintain the quality of the writing tbh.

I still hoping that Vicky McClure`s character meets a horrible and painful death at some point.

I was really hoping arnott was going rouge with john in this series and saw him killed off ...

I`ve really warmed to Arnott, as initially I thought he was a creepy little toad.

However, I can now see potential for him to go full on criminal mastermind, with his liking for those drugs he takes for his back and the fact that he secretly hates the world, as he can`t get a boner anymore.

I think the deterioration of both arnott and kate's homelives , came to light towards the end, perhaps that was an insight into what will happen next series.. ??

She could be the first one he murders, after failing to get wood with her on a drunken night out and then develops a taste for murder.
