Maddie McCann story on Netflix, not sure what to think. It starts out as an abduction case, ends up as a murder. If it wasnt for the terrible journo's involved I want to presume this was a horrible case of abduction, simply because the Portuguese authorities wanted it to be an English problem due to tourism being effected and the heartless journo's always looking for a better story. What does everyone here think ???

Ok...serious answers only....that didn't happen. I seriously cant believe in 2019 we dont have better answers. I haven't got to the end of the documentary yet so dont want to condemn...but as a father of four...we have never in all our years left our kids alone on holiday, if we ate, they ate with us, if they slept, we were in the next room.....I always want to side with the parents unless it's impossible to do so.

It is, I also appreciate it's really old news to some but I have to this day still look out for news of Maddie, it was one of them stories that ruined me....just couldn't imagine going through the same as a parent. I would recco this series just to see how the press can manipulate emotions on a daily basis without any thoughts for truth...paper sales first and foremost....basically why My family no longer watch or read terrestrial news or tv. It's best to be ignorant and Ill informed than told what to think by the media.

Not watched the documentary, and I know several years later the police say they ruled him out, but that guy seen carrying a kid away in pyjamas still strange for me.
