Luckily, it’s only 6 half hour episodes.
Gervais’ idea of heavy, chronic real life as comedy doesn’t work. This is as underwhelming as Derek. The balance between the subject matter and actual comedy is way-off.
Also, it’s set in what is a clearly very affluent little town, yet it’s crawling with moped muggers, drug dealers and prostitutes hanging around on street corners literally in the middle of the day, that just doesn’t work.
