Just finished Get Shorty, series 1 and 2 over the past week. Thoroughly recommended, reminds me of breaking bad in parts, hoping they do a 3 !!.

Beck BBC 4 is back up to standard episode 3 last night was a great episode.....

Watched the first episode of : Tin Star last night. ( just started on C4 )

The reviews had been patchy, some saying it was slow and ponderous.

I thought it was excellent, dark as anything with a real sense of menace and foreboding running all the way through it.

Tim Roth is excellent in the lead and the setting in rural Canada is stunning.

I`d been put off by the reviews too, hence why I hadn`t watched it elsewhere.

It does start off slowly, but it quickly turns very dark and sinister.

Tim Roth is a really good, as his " Englishness " and his British sense of humour is used to full effect with the script in the winding up of the Canadian hicks.
