Cliched pirates, hookers who looked like super models and laughable dialogue.

The only plus point was the girl on girl stuff.

Just finished watching season 3 of The Expanse. I'm so glad Amazon picked it up after SyFy dropped it. It's been a really good season and it would have been such a shame to end it after the last episode. Getting Mass Effect vibes big time, which is only a good thing.

Arrow season six, I really enjoy this show. Apart from season three (which was shocking) I've enjoyed them all and six is up with the best. Can't wait to see were they go in season seven after that great cliffhanger.

Finished The Chalet on Netflix. Really enjoyed it, it all came together nicely at the end. I think a lot of these series are far too long but at 6 episodes this was just right.

Fourth episode? I just watched the first three today, and possibly against my better judgement I will download and watch the fourth... but it needs to improve significantly. Sooooo many one-dimensional characters, so clichéd and far too much of the now-standard BBC political correctness.

Just Started "Black Sails". Five episodes in and it's finally clicked for me after a surprisingly slow start. I was expecting more sex and violence with it being Starz, but it's shaping up nicely. Superb subtle use of CGI and great costumes and period detail. To hell with historical accuracy like, but it's got some thunderous battle scenes and plenty of interesting characters.

+1 for Black Sails. Doesn't take itself too seriously and is highly entertaining.
