TV Series

Homeland first season was very good if a little far fetched, been on a decline more or less since then but is still pretty decent TV. Helps that I find the general subject matter interesting.

I tell you what has aged horrendously, 24... dear god. I remember when first season came out it was seen as groundbreaking TV and I loved it. Well for a laugh I thought id watch a few episodes for first time in many years and dear god is it lame, acting and script are so bad it defies belief. It looks so low budget as well.

TV has come a long friggin way in the past 10-15 years.

most tv shows are far fetched to an extent .i think they Dragged the Brodie story on a bit long but it’s quality show .

not done homeland at all. is it worth a try. whats the jist of it??
Another one that`s worth a viewing is - Southland.

Very under rated L.A. based police drama.

It`s more " factual " based day to day stuff, which sounds like it`s been done before and shouldn`t work, but it`s stand out, mainly due to the quality of the "non star " cast and the superb script.

Five seasons with a massive following and they inexplicably pulled the plug on it, rumours of sixth season in the offing.

i have 3 seasons of it watched.fantastic show.

I'm upto date with gommara mate.

cant wait for series 4.

I literally did series 3 in 2 sittings
Well I finally got around to watch my first episode earlier this afternoon. Somehow episodes one and two of this latest series have not recorded on series link, so joined the show at episode three.
I wont go all Mark Kermode and that in any description, but after watching two episodes today I well and truly see what the attraction is. I'll do another two later this evening
I'm going to have a bit of fun trying to work out who the characters are

Just finished season 3 of Fargo.

Just didn't think it was as intriguing or enjoyable as the previous two. In fact the first was probably the best. Some great characters throughout the series, Billy Bob Thornton in particular - very unpredictable.

The most recent season lacked something. A bit too obvious and a lacklustre ending. Carrie Coon is great in it though. She was also in The Leftovers - very underrated show.
Thought season two was the best, but enjoyed season three. Thought yer man out of Trainspotting did a great job.
