Just finish the 3rd season last night and I’m already feeling the emptiness.

I watched all of Mad Men during the last weeks.

It took me a while to get used to the structure of it, which I found a bit unusual for a series at first, but then I really liked it. What a cast. Shoutout to John Slattery, what a talented and funny actor. The ending is also quite satisfactory, can't say that too often for a series.

Jealous that you have just watched it. Easily one of my favourite shows, plan to re-visit soon as there will be loads of subtle bits I missed.

Have you thought about - Romanzo Criminale to fill the void until season 4 comes out ?

I don`t think you can stream it anymore, but you can the dvd`s on the likes of ebay relatively cheaply.

I read the episode reviews on vulture.com which offered a lot of insight for me. Insane how thoughtful and detailed Matt Weiner & co are.

True Detective Season one, is as good as anything that`s ever been made mate.

You can`t compare it to the likes of Gomorrah, the Wire, the Sopranos etc, as it`s totally different - ritual serial killings in the Deep South of America.

Make it your number one priority to watch above all other.

Be warned though, it`s beyond dark.

I found exactly that when watched it all through second and third time - it was no less enjoyable. For me, it’s arguably the best TV series I’ve ever seen, but I think The Sopranos just pips it.

Nope, would not be taking the missus for a mini break there.

I love the place. Keep going up the hill straight out of the cruise terminal, over the main roads, past the chic shops then up to the narrow streets. All very illuminating.
