apparently travis fimmel, who played ragnar lothbrok in vikings, is writing and starring in a wyatt earp series, less of a rose tinted look at the characters of the era apparently, it's an idea with plenty of potential

I was quite impressed with it too, and as a ‘limited series’, you don’t have to worry about keeping up with season after season!

He's going to have a hell of a time getting away from being Ragnar. That Warcraft movie looked like Ragnar + elves.

He did an outstanding job on Vikings though so I'm curious to see if he has any range to him.

You've got me in the mood for a re-watch now. It's been ages and I just finished one of the wire a few months back. Telly is crap at the moment, there's only a few things I'm looking for each week: Vikings, Gomorrah,and Dirk Gently.

The recent comedy offerings from the US have all been crap.

Gomorrah is ace, Oz is right up there for me, I would only have the wire, sopranos and possibly deadwood above it, jk simmons kills it as schillinger

I think Beecher's actor was amazing for pulling off the transformation you see. I was also a massive fan of Adebisi's actor. Right that's happening now.
