TV Series

I'm not sure, that's why I think they've been so good, the endings are so head bending !

* I think the son was going to kill the parents and he was given the choice of going to the town if and when that happened - an alternate heaven ?

I saw it as 'don't wish your life away and troubles' and/or the fake happiness of the working day and how it's not real. I haven't really read up on it but the story was written in the late 50's Mad Men era when working in the city etc was seen as a luxury.

I wasn't too fussed about the first two but this one was great, next one looks good.

That's why I think they're so good, as they're very subjective.

I thought the second one was excellent ?

Ps what did you make the ending of the second episode ( if you watched it ).

That wrecked my head too lol
My thoughts on that was that the Irish guy was in a simulation himself...

They are a real breath of fresh air, compared to shows that go on and on and have similar ideas to these...the abrupt endings are brutal tho!

Didn't consider that.

They're really thought provoking and very deep, that second one was quite emotional too.

Very fine television ;)

Finished watching Narcos season two yesterday. Fantastic tv, I've seen some negitiveity about the second season and I don't get it at all. I thought it was brilliant myself.

It's easily as good as the first.

The first set the scene for Escobars rise to power, the second shows him in all his psychopathic glory and also the American government doesn't come out of it too well either.

What the critics seem to fail to take into account is the fact that there's not one A lister in it.

Having read the book, it's a pretty faithful adaptation.

Does anyone watch the series Vikings? Absolutely brilliant series. Have to avoid spoilers and watch for it to come out on Blu-Ray. Semi-Nude, beautiful Scandanavian women, violence, historical, stunning scenery and really good characters - What's not to love!

New series starts soon...Ivan the cripple, is one angry young man. Very interesting to see how his character develops.

Just finished the Sixth season of Walking Dead too. Still really enjoying it but not as engrossed as I was within the first 5 series. Hope it doesn't get stale. I'm sure they'll freshen it up.
