TV Series

Better Call Saul is simply the best written TV I have ever had the pleasure to watch. The previous seasons were top notch, but season 3 has elevated it to another level. It is so inventive and clever.

I can't wait to see the aftermath of Chucks meltdown.
Agree 100% - all three seasons have been great, but this one's the best as it starts to shape up as a genuine Breaking Bad prequel.

Finished watching season 3 of Schitts Creek, it's great and it's been renewed for season 4!
One of the best comedy shows.

As we all wait for tonight's instalment of Little Boy Blue, it seems we have another powerful mini series telling the true story of the Rochdale sex scandal screening Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on BBC.
Titled Three Girls I have read a couple of previews about the series and I reckon that it will make a large number of people very angry at the very least. I am tempted to say that it will be manna from heaven for those with an agenda against the Muslim community.

From what I've read, both the PC, mainly white authorities and the Muslim Communtity get it in equal measures, as they were both equally culpable.

If they didn't present a balanced " how it was " view, there'd be no point in doing it and it'd be insulting to the poor girls involved and their families x

That's how I see it as well.
A shocking episode all around. Rochdale, Rotherham, Birmingham and probably a great number more, all instances of gross negligence by the authorities.

Little Boy Blue.

Incredibly well handled and I thought well balanced given the temptation to lay the boot into those sub humans and their disgusting families.

Stephen Graham played the lead detective as though it really meant a lot to him too, plus the actors who played Rhys parents too.
Yep superb throughout. i think the local actors would have put there best efforts in for this especially.

Stephen graham is a great actor.

Started watching a series called The Expanse on saturday. It's now early tuesday morning and I'm nearly done with season 2. Great sci-fi show with good action scenes, space fights, political elements and mystery.

Bit of confusion watching Billions season 2. End of episode 4 finishes with a deposition scene, with a pretty important final line. I'm 20 minutes into the next episode and it hasn't been brought up again. What's going on?

Finished the season andddd they don't bring it up again. Bizarre.

Just watched the first episode of " Three Girls "

It beggars belief that this could happen now.

Incredibly difficult to watch.

Same here. Thought they were flashing back, but all the events were in sequence - police, social services, etc, all aware and looking the other way. If the social services portrayal is actually true to life, I'm not surprised we keep learning of these situations.

It appeared to be a combination of head in the sand, buck passing and actually not giving a flying one about the girls.
