I thought the performance from the kids was amazing.

It was a mish mash of so many other films / series that it could've gone very badly wrong and tanked.

Also taking a masive chance on a washed out shoplifter like Winnona Ryding paid off too

Agree with both points. It's nothing special in and of itself, but the kids are good (all of the acting is TBF) and it's good to see Winona Ryder back. Her appearance itself is a bit of a knowing wink to the 80s - the makers have all their references spot on, especially the soundtrack.

Spot on.

The soundtrack was very " John Carpenter ", with the odd track from the likes of Echo and the Bunnymen thrown in for good measure.

I'm expecting great things from series 2, as they'll be able spend more money on it, due to it bring such a big hit

Agree with all that. Left to my own devices, I'd have enjoyed it anyway, and I did enjoy it, but it wasn't perhaps as great as all the hype led me to believe it would be before watching (probably true of most things that come so highly recommended). Will defo be watching the second 'season' (as we are now obliged to call it) anyway.

Terrible. Gave up about halfway, and hated pretty much every second of it up to that point. Won't be returning.

The problem is having watched the far superior Man in a High Tower, it just can't measure up.

Following closely I think the plot of the book. I thought it was quite good, just really scene setting.

Thought it was really good so far. I can imagine Nazi occupied Britain to be very like that.

I liked it. It's very hipster at times, but I enjoyed it. See also: Flaked, and Love.

Ok, so finished watching 'Love', good stuff and even better that season 2 is out in mid-March!?
The thing I enjoyed more about season 1, was not feeling compelled to laugh uncontrollably, at some 'really funny' scenes.
It was fun and I liked it.
