Watched a very small amount of Romanzo Criminale and it seemed a bit naff. Didn't seem as gritty as all the others, almost a pastiche.

agreed,only good thing was the stunning hooker.

Recently finished Penny Dreadful. Was ok.
Next up, Narcos.

Thought it was great, loved it.
The 'monster' portrayal along with other characters was just right.
The only downer for me was 3 seasons, think 4 is the length needed to tell the story. More than that is money grabbing.
BSG was just right, Walking Dead now needs wrapping up as does Game of Thrones.

Currently watching The Pacific, to my shame I missed it when it first came out.

What an amazing series, makes you feel sad about the loss of life in the war tho, war is hell.

Good series. You've seen Band of Brothers I assume? Thought that was a little better but you're right they get the horror of the whole thing over perfectly.

I read that Spielberg and Hanks were going to do another series but about fighter pilots. Read that ages ago though and not heard anything since. Shame as it could be ace.

Yeah its no Band of Brothers like, but its still an amazing and humbling watch.

Great series so surprised when they pulled the plug on it...had more to go for me

Sky Atlantic it was on . Yeah the film is class . I've seen romanzo criminale the film as well which is good but not great bur started the series last night which is meant to be better than Gomorrah . It's started good .

Another Italian film and tv show is Subarra . The film is out and Netflix is bringing the show out this year . I've not seen either yet
