Rewatching The Wire for the first time just because.

I tell you what, as hard to believe as this may be, its so much better the second time round.

I definitely enjoyed the second series a lot more the 2nd time round. I wasn't a huge fan of it the first time but have really enjoyed it the times since. Series 5 is a bit more disappointing with repeat viewings I found.

The Night Of was great. Give John Turturro all of the awards. Hard to picture James Gandolfini in that role - as he was meant for it originally.

He was very good in Plan Bs film Ill Manors.

I doubt anybody would ever watch it, but I thought it was good!

That show is brilliant, season 2 starts so badly you want to turn it off...seems like new writers have ruined it...then it makes sense after a couple of episodes why it was written like that.

Careful with L4 as he has a tendancy to post without using spoilers...

im always the last to watch series but i made a start on ray donovan last night.watched the first episode and thought it was very good.defo make you want to watch on.

Started watching USA house of cards series 4 supposed to be the best series yet!
Not a bad start 2 episodes in so far
I heard also a series called Start up looks promising?based on Bitcoin in real life in the USA Martin Feeman is in it?

Bitcoin was created by an unknown mysterious figure in Japan...that series looks promising but the actors seem very random.

I never understood why people don't warm to the second season on first viewing. It was genuinely one of my favourites.

Series 2 is easily the best one. Series 5 can be skipped completely imo. Dreadful plot, adds nothing to the whole saga, and if you stopped after series 4, you'd be none the poorer.

Haha cheers mate.looking forward to it now.reading the book by roberto saviano at the minute as well.going to watch it after season 1 of ray donovan which like you have said looks to be very good.

I watched it - was brutal and way to much colourful language for my sensitive ears. I saw Plan B in one of his first ever gigs in North London years ago. A young poet with a guitar.

haha has it got action in it? As long as things happen then i don't mind.

Just scarred for life after lost and the endless nothing happening in it.
