I had the misfortune to accidentally see a minute of The Masked Singer on ITV1 just now.
The most moronic, bottom-of-the-barrel garbage, churned out for something like its 9th series.
If someone pitched the idea for it to you, you’d think they’re on crack: ITV-payroll ‘celebrity’ panel have to guess which celebrities are singing while disguised as aliens.
Panel celebrity: “I think it’s Bruno Mars”
No you dolt, this is throwaway ITV trash, it’s not Bruno Mars, it’s Barry from Eastenders.

Enjoying American Primeval. Some brutal scenes already 1 ep in. Cast is absolutely stacked too. I do always love how much better spoken people were back then as well. English language has well and truly devolved over the years.

Just coming to the end of a rewatch of season one of Prison Break.
Crazy to think it’s 20 years old. I know the quality of the later seasons dropped, but season one was a fantastic watch, so tense and exciting. Before I saw Breaking Bad, it used to be my all-time favourite TV show.

Lobotomy TV, to be sure.
Silo season 2 ended pretty good. Pacing was off earlier in it but its got me hyped for season 3.
Just polished of all six series of OZ.
Would highly recommend it, it’s great tv.
One of HBO’s forebears and arguably the series that prob gave us the likes of the Sopranos, The Wire and Soms of Anarchy and modern TV. In fact it’s probably set in the same universe as the Sopranos. It ran from the late 90s - early 00s.
Like the Sopranos its production is of the time and of the values of that society, but man it’s hard hitting, gruesome and harrowing but compelling. First three and four series are compelling. It gets a bit sensationalised then, in truth probably should have finished after season 4, but it’s very hard to keep coming up with something fresh in a fixed prison setting.
Anyway, the premise is set in a max US prison and floods the progress of inmates at different stages of incarceration. Builds them to rivalries, feuds and wars between different gang factions, the Mafia, Hispanics, Muslims, American Americans, Aryans and all that goes on.
As I say it’s hard hitting, gruesome, hard hitting and poignant all at the same time.
But great TV.

I was looking for a classic cop show to binge watch on BritBox and I discovered this show: Inspector Morse. What a brilliant show. The writing is really good but i'm more intrigued just for Morse's snobbish personality and the dynamic he has with his partner, Lewis. Just an interesting show.

That was my show back in the day (that and The Shield). The first season was always my favorite just so you can see how Michael plans to break his brother out.
Needs some kind of big reveal in the next series, otherwise people will get bored of it.

Last season seemed to be doing that and then nothing was really answered and just kind of raised more questions.
I’ve avoided spoilers as much as possible but seems to be lots of buzz from the US around season 3 and I believe it does provide some explanations.
