TV Series

Finally going to get started on Breaking Bad tomorrow now I have the first 3 seasons on DVD, any stand out episodes from them series to look forward to?
Just started Breaking Bad myself, 3 episodes in and its really good so far. Struggling to get the image of Hal skating on Malcolm in the Middle out of my head though!

Reminds me of scrubs but set in police station. I love it, wife hates it......... no taste
Watched about 15 mins of that Brooklyn Nine Nine and thought it was one of the worst things I've ever seen. But I'm not really hot on US comedies, bar the odd exception (Cheers, Curb, Seinfeld)

Halt & Catch Fire....AMCs new drama ran it's first episode last night.
Just downloaded it and gonna give it a watch tonight.
Was decent. Likened to wolf of wall street, I believe (haven't seen it).
Good opener really, set the tone. Felt like there will be plenty of plot twists and character developments. Hopefully the start of another AMC belter

The first season of Agents of SHIELD finished on Friday night. E4 will more than likely repeat it from the start at some point but if not I think a box set is slated for September. Awesome series, and a must if you're a fan of the MCU.

I've been watching a lot of American comedies recently including Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development and Community.

Three of my faves. Love P&R for April and Ron F'in Swanson. He's probably my favorite. (Enjoy Swanson vs. Food), Community has some awesome themed/conceptual shows balanced against some that fall flat. Love the "Fistful of Dollars" paintball episodes.

AD is probably my favorite sitcom ever. Own the first three seasons on DVD. Still haven't checked out the 4th yet, have copies for after the move.

Has anyone watched Brooklyn Nine Nine? I've watched two episodes and it's amazing

Love Terry Crews in that, almost as much as his role as President Dwayne Alozand Herbert Mountain Dew Camacho.

And the hard ass female cop.

Started watching Band of Brothers for aproximately the 12th time on the D-day anniversary day. Without a doubt the best production ever made for TV. It's HBO, and it tops everything HBO has ever done before and after. In fact NOTHING will ever top BoB. There is no men i have more respect or admiration for, than the guys who fought for our freedom. Just finished the Bastogne/Foy part of the series. Tears me up every time I watch Joe Toye and Bill Guarnere laying on the ground there. So many great men losing their lives in those woods.

If you haven't watched this tv series, I recommend it with all my heart. If you don't like it then I'll buy you a pint when I eventually get to visit Liverpool
