TV Series

The Winning Time, charting the acquisition and rise of the LA Lakers under Jerry Buss.

Frequently abandons reality in favour of narrative and has an irritating penchant for fourth wall breaking.

But it's great viewing, John C. Reilly is playing a man who, in real life, was playing a character and is engaging. Season two has just started.
Been meaning to start watching this

Currently 4 episodes in( and 4 wives) of the Six Wives of Henry V111.
A BBC production from 1970 recently redbone on BBC4. I just about remember my mum watching it back in the day. Each episode is 90 mins long so a bit of a slog but worth it.
Not sure whether I’m going back to my youth or it’s nostalgia, but I’ve also got lined up from iPlayer, Oppenheimer and I Claudius and When The Boat Comes in( Dramachannel).

Requesting help from all you degens on here: I am trying to find a place to buy/stream/river a TV series from 2010 called Glory Daze about a frat house in the 80's. Was just the one season and 10 eps but I can't find it ANYWHERE.

'Parkinson at 50' bbc1 9pm - I expect it'll be a roundup of some of his memorable interviews.
As an aside, he was always pleasant to listen to on Test Match Special, and I think it was there that he told his tales of trying to catch up with Jack Nicholson. Never quite succeeding. Seemed a very decent chap, and worked through an era where the bbc in particular made some pretty wild mistakes. Yeah, 'Integrity' is the word I'll use for him.

Ragnarok Season 3 looks pretty hype..

For those who aren't familiar - Norwegian Netflix series based on Norse mythology in which a young lad moves to a small village with his mum & brother and discovers he's the reincarnation of Thor. It's very good.
