Dr Death - recently been on C4.

Dramatisation of the true story, of the efforts of two surgeons trying to stop and alert the authoritie, of the rogue, sociopath surgeon Dr Christopher Dunst, from killing and maiming any more patients.

Surprisingly good, watches a bit like a made for tv series at times, but still very watchable.

Joshua Jackson is fantastic as the rogue surgeon.

You ever read about the true story for this? It’s so bad but so confusing. As crap as he was how he wasn’t stopped earlier is mind blowing.

I couldn’t understand how he got the reputation as a superstar surgeon, when all he was doing was killing and maiming his patients, some of the time, off his head on coke !!!

People soon forget the Harold Shipman's of this world - This was in the USA where even two other top surgeons were ignored trying to expose him for what he was, a murderer....

I found it compelling viewing ....

It does get better, but understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
I was similar with The Wire. I got to the 3rd season and gave up. Think it’s probably because the main character got on my nerves, but may give it another go.
The wire was hard to get into the 1st 3 episodes were a bit complex, after that it was brilliant - give it another go, a great series....

Only 6 episodes to the last Season of Jack Ryan. Bit strange as the story does seem to jump to the end pretty quickly in the last 2 episodes given the 'steady' pace in the opening 4.
Decent enough season though and although it's been tagged as the final season of Jack Ryan, it does set up what comes next.
