I am very late to Succession. I almost gave up after a couple of episodes but now by the end of series 1, I am very glad that I stuck with it.

I’ve had that conversation with so many people that I’ve recommended it too. Sadly most gave up
I want to revisit but like a lot of people gave up after a couple of episodes. Think it’s mainly because absolutely no character is likeable.

A whole cast of shallow, venal creatures talking complete business babble.
All the great Shakespearean motifs are there, a king, his plotting children, betrayal, revenge, love, hate, and greed.

Think it’s worth watching for the Greg/Tom relationship alone, which is hilarious. Like you say not many likeable characters, but I think Greg is.
I would definitely recommend. The more I watched, the more I understood, and then I really started to enjoy it. I think it gets much better even by the middle of the first series.

Dr Death - recently been on C4.
Dramatisation of the true story, of the efforts of two surgeons trying to stop and alert the authoritie, of the rogue, sociopath surgeon Dr Christopher Dunst, from killing and maiming any more patients.
Surprisingly good, watches a bit like a made for tv series at times, but still very watchable.
Joshua Jackson is fantastic as the rogue surgeon.
Dropped on a link on sky last night of the start of the original series of BECK series 1 - 1997 based on the novels from the 1960s 90 minute episodes a bit grainy but fantastic viewing......a young Beck
The series is still running on BBC 4 tonight new ones etc - still very good ....

Righteous Gemstones has been the watch recently. My word, its hilarious.
