TV Series

Started watching Spartacus Blood and Sand again the other night, think I’ve watched about 5 episodes so far… great watch.

Also had a lazy day today so watched Martina Cole’s The Take. Seen it a few times over the years, it’s only 4 episodes and Tom Hardy plays Tom Hardy as usual but it’s a good watch.

Watched the first four episodes of Reacher, its pretty poor. I'll finish this series off but I'll not be investigating if there's a second, far too many plot holes and liberties being taken. It has the feel of a not very good Stephen King adaptation.

Putting aside all the rumpty bumpty. Blood and sand was decent, once it got going. Really liked the prequel they were forced to do as well.
Last 2 series, not so much. But that is probs cause of the change in the lead.

Binge watching Breaking Bad for the 5th time still can't work out when Walt gets the opportunity to poison the young lad
Gilligan said at a comic-con event that Walt slipped the poison into Brock's juice box at school at some point offscreen. The writers actually started calling Walt "evil juice box man" after that episode. So even though we never saw it the the writers say that's definitely what happened. Plot armor basically.

I think the good thing about House of the Dragon (so far anyway) is that it hasn't tried to bombard people with too many new characters/plotlines from the off. The story being focused primarily on the Rhaenyra/Viserys/Daemon stuff between Kings Landing and Dragonstone is making it a bit easier to digest.

Game of Thrones took a good 7-8 episodes for me to properly get hooked and it was only really because of the Stark/Lannister dynamic and the events to led to the drama in Kings Landing. Everything else outside of that was very much a slow burner for me personally.

Anyone done Yellowstone?
Just on to season 4, quite like KC portrayal of John Dutton, sure its far removed from most of Montana life but has some great scenery and fulfils a one time want of mine and is some great escapism, to be a real "cowboy", if they are anything like the portrayal of most of them in this series, I feel I'm not quite cut out for it though LOL, for those who have/are watching Im more of a Jamie Dutton type !!

I believe season 5 drops in November in US, anyone know when the UK will get it?
