I can't be the only one confused how that got a second series after how nicely wrapped up everything seemed to be after series 1? Is the new plotline decent?

Finished season 2 of Fargo.

Ridiculously good. All these actors do so well and they have a great connection as a cast. Especially enjoyed Nick Offerman as Karl and the guy playing Reagan, hilarious.

3 episodes in to .... 11.22.63 and really enjoying it. A little like Quantum Leap........... difference being....... they are trying to stop the assassination of JFK...........IMDB scoring it a 9.

Anyone hear watch Black Sails? This current season and the last one before it have been brilliant.

For those of you who have never heard of it, Black Sails is an 18+ look at the 1720's pirates from the Golden Age of Piracy (Vane, Blackbeard, Ned Low, Jack Rackham, Anne Bonny) with a few of the characters from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island thrown into the mix and given an origin story before the events of the novel.

It all ties together very well. For starters, there are no "yarr me matey! Shiver me timbers!" pirate accents or talking parrots. It is a more historically-accurate view of the life of a pirate (or gentlemen of fortune as they prefer) than has ever been produced. The ship and the special effects are great, some fit birds and bloody battle scenes. What's not to love?


It is currently working through its 3rd season and has been renewed for a 4th.

In the first season it has slow points to develop the characters a bit, but past that it is a very quickly paced TV show with lots to keep you interested.
