Trust me mate it does, episode one of any series tend to be " catch ups " and introduction of new characters.

Series two of Saul is a belter.

Found a comedy called fresh off the boat whilst browsing. I'd never even heard of it but it's really good. Watched about half the 1st series and enjoying it so far. Would recommend.
