Katla is Scandi Noir, nothing like Game of Thrones.

Katla is... okay. Starting watching it this week and about 5 episodes in. Does seem to be bumbling along a bit right now, but the overarching premise is interesting enough. I'll persevere.

Just on Loki - the thing I'm enjoying most about it is the atmosphere and I like that spacey 1950's noir vibe that it gives off, especially with the TVA. The whole show so far really feels like it has a big Marvel movie budget behind it too. It's great.

Bit like Wandavision, has some extremely creative and imaginative parts, then lets it down slightly with bad sub characters and being a bit ‘marvel’
The new female character is weak I think.
Love this part of the intro mind.

Not sure what to think about Dexter starting up again, series 4 with John LIthgow was fantastic but it went rapidly downhill after and I pretty much felt obliged to watch to the end as I'd invested so much time into it.

To be fair, they're doing a great job with these series, Wandavision was meh but ended well and I really enjoyed Falcon and Winter Soldier, they're not skimping on the budget.
Only thing that's gripping my poop is weekly episode releases.

No idea how long it's been out but ive been looking forward to it for ages.

Just seen episode one .....six more to go ......my older brother has read all the books it going into his retirement as a private detective signs partner ....... A ex women defective'......
Yet if it carries on away from Amazon it will date back to his youth ...,..
I hope it will be better than the young Wallander series that was average set up in the 21st century which spoilt it some what .......

Is it just me that’s 3 eps into Loki and thought barely anything has happened?

Agree with your assessment totally. Went from great to bang average quicker than Carlo got off to Spain
