Was bored out of my mind, so I figured I'd pick a random series on Amazon Prime to check out. Ended up watching the first episode of Carnival Row. Good enough to keep watching, I think.

Rewatching 24 s1. Boy, it has not aged well at all.

The first 2 I think show their age, but by series 3 it's fairly slick and feel like they could have been filmed recently - bar the old tech they use of course.

I'm on season 2 now and already its a marked improvement. Not just in the look and feel of the show, but it's better written imo - less reliance on the continual quick cell phone conversations that now seem to have aged very badly.

Season 2 was the best if I remember right. After that they seemed to copy the same storey line everytime with different people.
I liked the guy who plays the president

I can’t stand him either buddy but and it’s a big but this is good telly … the real life supporting characters are priceless and even Clarkson comes across as a caring kind of bloke , still a dick mind you but a committed and caring dick

Watching series 1 of Attack on Titan.. just finished ep 6.. holy smokes!! No anime I’ve seen before comes close! The depths of tragedy and suffering this series goes to ... phew... handmaids tail is like the smurfs!

I remember the big fella from Game of Thrones and he has done really well in this.

Towards the end you could tell a few of the scenes were green screened in but they did really well.
