I'm 3 episodes in and very funny so far. Co-written by one of the Farelly brothers and has some recognisably crude and hilarious dialogue.

Stumbled across this yesterday and watched season 1. Big fan. Dark comedy

I have to say, Amazon Prime has many decent shows, I am liking a lot of them.

If you haven't seen Absentia I would recommend. Helix is a bit Lost meets hills have eyes in season 2 but a decent enough watch for sci fi fans.

I have got rid of sky now i'm a bit skint and only paying £15.98 for Netflix and Prime and its easily enough tv to watch.

Started watching The Boys after finishing Jupiter's Legacy, It's good but Karl Urbans cranky cockney accent keeps morphing back to his native New Zealand accent and is bugging me somewhat

I do wonder if a season 2 is on the cards, but I'm not familiar with the source material to know if it actually continued beyond the point where they left it

Started watching The Boys after finishing Jupiter's Legacy, It's good but Karl Urbans cranky cockney accent keeps morphing back to his native New Zealand accent and is bugging me somewhat

Yeah you end up getting used to it. Great show. Dunno why they just didn’t get a proper cockney or someone who could do the accent.

I never can understand why English can't play English, American by an American etc instead of dodgy accents

Some actors can pull it off but yeah it’s a bit weird. I couldn’t work out if Karl Urban’s accent gets better or you just get used to it. The show is all about Homelander though. Looking forward to the next season.

Yeh it’s based on a webtoon which has a prequel so maybe? The CGI is hilariously bad but I love it.

I think Urban is fantastic in it, kind of plays the role well despite being slightly sketchy on the accent occasionally

Its been an underwhelming year or so for TV imo but this is the first thing that's peaked my interest since Chernobyl. Its getting exceptional reviews and is out tomorrow !

1st one was so so,story wise.
