It won't. Say we currently make £90m in a season, and Spurs make £160m With the new TV Money, we make £120m, while they make £190m
Might not change the math you were doing too much but Spurs are getting about 9m more than we are. So they go up to 199m. Your point remains fairly unchanged though.
You could make a case for never buying from another Prem team ever again however. Our "advantage" (or lack thereof in many cases) against them financially is still not significant; this grows our advantage over the rest of the world far more than it improves our fortunes against other Prem clubs.
We'll also go from making practically no profit to clearing £20m profit per year.
We still have to keep up with them all though. If we actually realize that profit (or in reality pay down debts since I doubt the banks would be too keen on the board removing 20m without paying down any debt) we'd almost certainly lose ground competitively. So while it is more money it's still more money we are essentially forced to invest in order to retain our position.
Everton Football Club is a house of cards. Any one change is dangerous -- we might be facing a couple of pretty big changes in the summer. We've done well in the past but we don't know if EFC will continue to outperform the market in player transfers after this year.
