Can't speak for what's like now, but was there about 12 years ago and it was one of my favourite countries to visit. Istanbul, Ephesus, Antalya, Pamukklake- incredible

Massive human rights issues there against minority groups, and political opponents. The idea that they could be allowed into the EU is crazy.
