I think that’s why I never included Rooney in my original list, not world class when he was here but certainly went on to be! Gazza arguably he was yes for a year or two but let’s just say his standards had slipped a bit by the time he rocked up here!

I never saw Neville Southall play, was living in Canada in the eighties(still do). However saw Lineker, when Everton played a friendly in Toronto against Canada. 1-0 Everton, Lineker scored ha!

Lukaku. Think the jury is still out on him as world class, in my humble opinion!

Lukaku has been hit or miss, but if he moves to Juve then that's two top teams he'll have played for, so isn't the answer "Yes" ?

Not sure, just because he played for them does that make him world class (?) - others may disagree! Arguably he hasn’t shown himself to be anything like world class at OT?

Based on their time at Everton, I’d say the only player I’ve seen play for us who i’d describe as world class would be Baines.

For 2/3 years he was one of the best in his position in the world imo.

I’m too young to recall seeing Southall play, and Rooney didn’t reach world class levels till after he left.
