Most under-appreciated player in our recent(ish) history. Never seemed to connect with most of the core fanbase (he's a lifelong Hammer). The biggest criticism seems to be that he was a poacher who didn't play for the team.

I agree he was a top-class poacher, but surely his goals contribution benefitted the team rather than hindered it?
