I was curious about this after yesterday so I looked it up.

Since ww2 four goalkeepers have played a league game for everton without ever keeping a clean sheet.

12 goalkeepers have done it prewar so if anyone (and by that I mostly mean groucho) wants to have a go at those too than fair does. But they're incredibly, incredibly obsucre. Some of them no-one even knows their first names.

The four post war should be got, though.

We kept clean sheets in two leagues games Turner played, tough he didn't play 90 in either of them. He came on for Wright in the second half for one and the other he came off for Ruddy.
