Just saw this on the OS.

Basically, if you know a Blue who passed away this year, let the club know via the above link and they'll be added to a tribute at the Soton game.

Nice touch. As Bally said "Once Everton has touched you, nothing will be the same"

As an aside, didn't there used to be a way of marking a thread as being "From the club" or something similar ?

That is brilliant that. Even the badge looks dignified in black.

Thankfully I have no-one to dedicate.

Best wishes to those who have.

....hearing yesterday from somebody that you can't bury ashes at Goodison anymore, instead I understand you can plant a tree at Finch Farm. Apparently its really well done and the person I spoke to said that when she was up there RM made a specific point of coming over and chatting.

I wasn't born blue, but i will die one. My family will be blue and will follow us long after i have gone.

To those who have followed and fell, we keep the same promise that we want for out next generation, regardless of trophies, status or division, keep the pride in the club we love.

From those who kicked a ball with the crest, to the folks who have made there way to watch us on a cold and wet miserable day..... We are the best club on earth....

Sleep tight fellow blues, your roar will never cease to be heard at the Goodison Park!

RIP!!!

Couldn't agree more. Club are making huge strides both on and off the pitch. Don't think it is just a coincidence since andy Myers was employed by the club. It really is a lovely gesture for the Southampton game.

I'm sure your nan will be beaming with pleasure at that thought mate. She must have had many happy years as a Blue and shared those memories with you. It's tragic when a youngster dies though. RIP Jake and Doris.
