Always reluctant to mock those who write over the top rubbish about Everton when we lose, but I can't resist the temptation; the BBC says Brighton have got 33 points from the last 45 at home. Should have been a walk over against lil ol Brighton eh? Some of you make me laugh, which is not easy after we lose.

We were awful like. I don’t see a problem in saying it either.

Problem 1 Everton’s mentality
Problem 2 Ambition and how to manage it

Maybe some managers are happy to play for the Pay Off (Fat Sam and playing style, Koeman and Bobby - divisions within the squad). Maybe Silva needs a couple of players before we can judge. Or maybe it’s just posturing on his part.

More than half the team were Silvas players today and he doesn’t think we need a striker so probably more his finished article than transitional.

Just googled

Trans sational by accident

Oh my lord.

Transitional

A term sometimes used by Everton football club and its supporters to explain or excuse sub par and inconsistent performances consisting of things such as lack of effort, poor passing, poor defending, poor creativity, poor finishing, poor decision making on and off the field i.e things that normally professional footballers should in fact be naturally adept at regardless of transitional period.

Plopp needed at least a season to push his ideas through, get the players he wanted.

No, im not saying Silva has anything like Plopps record, but it does highlight what can be done if you give a manager time.

Is Silva good enough? Is he a good manager? We simply dont know yet, if in 12months we are still in the position then the answer is no.

But theres nothing to be gained from changing managers every season, nothing AT all.

Not yet as bad as El fraudo's last 2 seasons or last season but I am awaiting Plans B and C with interest.......lets see in another year shall we?

He’s ONE point better at this stage than Martinez was the season we sacked him.

Incredible improvement.

Actually no, he has the same amount as Roberto M.

I’ve made a mistake checking just by date not by a number of games.

It is what it is like. No matter how much I kick and scream and say it is unfair, it isn't going to turn us into trophy winners.

What I would say is I wished we got a proven trophy winning manager so at least we could have ruled that out of being the issue now. Hopefully it gets better.

As much as I am struggling with Silva I do agree getting rid of him now would be stupid.

But as he’s Moshiri’s love child we may be stuck with him for a while.
