The delay in additional signings is probably due to a number of reasons.
1. Money made available by the board. (even the extensions could be related to this)
2. Roberto wanted a full preseason to evaluate Kone and see if part of the budget would have to cover a new striker. Say we had 20 mm was available and we could get by with a CB and AM. He now has to use that 20MM across 3 players and has to lower the CB Budget, ACM Budget to pay for a striker.
