Slightly concerned what this means for Stones? Would we pay £8m for a backup?

We only have one CB over the age of 21 and he's well into his 30s. We need another CB, buying one and selling Stones would just mean we need another CB on top of that.

Evans provides cover at two positions we're in need of cover for. He's 27, not 34. It may be unpopular, but I actually like the signing if true. Think the price is a bit steep if 8mil is to be believed, but for 6ish, I think it's good business.
