For talking sake let's say the Kyiv chairman is correct and we started negotiations 10 days ago. That begs the question - why did we only start negotiating 10 days ago? Martinez has known for months on end what it is we need so that makes me think Yarmolenko was never on his top list of targets to begin with. Did he even have a target list to begin with? Has he even identified a list of players we need?

5 games in and still no sign and 33 hours to address a problem that's been glaringly obvious for far too long.

The Kiev chairman is blowing smoke to cloud the issue of a done deal that he's backed away from... imo.
