The rags in Italy were reporting this about two weeks ago. supposedly us and Stoke had put in an offer with Stoke offering 1M euros more than us and so Inter accepted Stokes offer.
Shaqiri is clearly waiting to see if better offers come in although weren't the rumors yesterday that he was off to Shalke?

On that basis, then, this 'could be' a new bid - it matches Stoke's reported one from the other week. I'd only read previously that we might be preparing a bid so this ITKnowledge seems different....

...but I suppose it's not worth debating this kind of thing until he's spotted on County Road getting a Greggs!
