Transfer Window Thread

IF, IF we sell Stones we must spend on the squad.
Like most who have mentioned it before I would go for Mori and an experienced CB under £10m, Yarmolenko, Perisic or Ziyech for the AM and Austin or Afobe for CF.
I am assuming that the money we get from Stones plus the money (£25m) we already had would pay for those players.

If we keep Stones then go for Perisic plus Ziyech who I estimate would cost us £20m plus Mori £5m and look at Austin or Afobe in January/Summer 2016 along with a top quality GK.

Even if we don't sell Stones we must, must invest in the squad. This is not an either or argument. We started the transfer window needing at the very minimum 1 centre back, 1 striker, 1 attacking midfielder and possibly 1 goalkeeper and another centre back regardless of anything else that happened.

Only way the board can come out of this smelling of roses. Don't sell stones and spend money in the team. anything less and the board should roll
